Overview
The State of Minnesota Construction Codes and Licensing Division's MN State Building Code Jurisdiction Directory lists Turtle River Township, MN as not having adopted MN State Building Codes. See here for more information.
The township does require a "land use permit" for erecting a building or structure costing $1000 or more. The land use permit (building permit) is required to be reviewed and approved by both the Township's Zoning Board as well as the Township's Board of Supervisors. As of April 18, 2019, there were no zoning or land use ordinances available to cite.
Per conversation with a staff member on April 17, 2019, Dwight Lewis, Zoning Board Chairperson, informed PLRB an updated Zoning Ordinance will be adopted and published online soon. PLRB will monitor this matter appropriately.
